Prepare and cook an Elk Rib Chop perfectly to impress all your freinds

The following recipe is super simple and quick, all you need is a few ingredients, a grill (Griddle), and an oven!
(Do not cook Elk past medium-rare/Medium or the meat will be dry and tough)
North American Elk Rib Chop
salt
pepper
preheat oven to 475 degrees.
preheat grill/griddle to 600+ degrees or SEAR.
Remove Elk Chop from packaging and pat dry with a paper towel.
season the Elk Chop with salt and pepper evenly on both sides to taste.
Put the Elk Chop on Grill/Griddle and sear on each side and edges for 2-3 minutes.
Once your Elk Chop has nice a sear place in preheated oven on a cooking tray for 8 minutes.
Once pulled out of the oven let the meat sit for 10 minutes so the juices are retained in the Chop.
Slice, serve and Enjoy!
