Prepare the Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground elk, onion, garlic, basil, parsley, egg, parmesan, salt, and pepper.
Add Breadcrumbs: In a separate small bowl, moisten the breadcrumbs with a bit of tap water. Then add the breadcrumb mixture to the elk mixture.
Mix the Ingredients: Using your hands, squeeze and mix the ingredients together until fully combined.
Form Meatballs: Scoop out portions of the mixture to form 1-3 ounce meatballs, depending on your preference.
Cook the meatballs: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until they reach and internal temp of 150 degrees F.
