Elevate your pasta night with this bold and savory Python Pappardelle. Featuring wide ribbons of pasta coated in a rich roasted tomato cream sauce, this dish is brought to life with the unique flavor of python sausage. Sautéed garlic and onions add depth, while a splash of chicken stock and a touch of cream create a velvety base. Finished with your favorite grated cheese and fresh herbs, this adventurous yet comforting meal is perfect for foodies looking to explore something new.
200 grams of fresh Pasta
1 link of raw Python Sausage
1 tbsp of Olive Oil
½ Onion (Chopped)
3 cloves of garlic (Finely Chopped)
⅓ cup of roasted tomatoes
¼ cup of chicken stock
½ cup of cream
¼ cup of your preferred cheese (Grated)
Salt & Pepper to taste
Cook your pasta: Bring Medium sized pot up of water up to a boil. Once water is boiling, throw in your fresh (or box) Pasta and cook until done.
Prepare sausage: Take sausage out of casing, cut casing down the middle and remove the ground sausage.
Brown Sausage: Put ground sausage into a small sauce pan and cook until brown.
Cook Aromatics: In same pan add chopped garlic and onion. Saute until aromatics are lightly colored.
Deglaze the pan: Pour the stock and deglaze; scrape up any brown bits clinging to the bottom of the pan.
Build the sauce: Add cream and tomatoes into the pan. Once sauce has thickened add in powdered cheese.
Finish the plate: Combine drained pasta with sauce; making sure each noodle is evenly coated. Plate and garnish with your preferred herbs and or extra cheese.
